The temple, in its state before the destruction of 2015, was constructed in 130/131 CE. It was composed of a pronaos with six columns and a cella.
The Collart-Palmyre Project worked together with ICONEM, a French start-up specialized in 3D digitalization of patrimonial sites. Using the archives of Paul Collart, ICONEM and UNIL were able to build and draw a digital double of the destroyed temple.
